Lack of awareness and access to affordable, timely and quality healthcare are life-threatening barriers for our urban and rural poor. While government efforts focus on building large-scale health infrastructure, there remains a critical need to strengthen the last mile – where knowledge, access, and trust converge. When empowered with knowledge of conditions, prevention methods, symptoms, and remedies, families can promptly safeguard themselves and seek professional help.

Therefore, we work closely with local systems to enhance the capacity of healthcare providers and caregivers, extend support through telemedicine and medical aid, and strengthen infrastructure where it is needed most. Recognising that health is shaped by more than just medical care, we support efforts around mental health, de-addiction, and assistive care for persons with disabilities. We also address the broader social determinants of health – such as clean water, sanitation and hygiene, nutrition, and food security – while prioritising the specific needs of women, children, and the elderly through focused interventions in reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health, and active ageing.

Financial Security

In India, financial insecurity continues to trap millions in cycles of poverty, driven by limited access to formal financial systems, lack of job-ready skills, and low awareness of social protection measures. Many individuals, especially from underserved communities, struggle to secure stable livelihoods or safeguard their earnings.

Our financial security interventions aim to address these challenges by strengthening the financial resilience of communities through financial literacy and inclusion, access to social security schemes, and vocational and job readiness training. Keeping women at the heart of our programmes, we support income generation through entrepreneurship development, Self Help Groups, and market linkages, while also equipping participants with essential cybersecurity awareness. Through these efforts, we enable people to build secure, self-reliant, and sustainable futures.

Community Resiliency

Addressing urgent needs today for a better tomorrow.

Varitty Impact Foundation community resiliency interventions focus around enabling vulnerable populations to better withstand and recover from challenges – be it accidents, disasters, or systemic risks. We work to build safer communities through sustained efforts in road safety education and first responder training, especially among youth. In times of crisis, we mobilize support for immediate disaster response and long-term recovery, ensuring rebuilt infrastructure is safer and more inclusive.

Climate Action

India’s environmental challenges are urgent and complex, from air and water pollution to biodiversity loss and the accelerating impacts of climate change. The country’s low rank on the global Environment Performance Index underscores the need for collective, sustained efforts to restore ecological balance.

We believe that climate action begins with consciousness and translates into meaningful, community-led solutions. Through our climate action interventions, we promote practices that improve the health of ecosystems such as plantation drives, soil and water conservation, and pollution mitigation. We support sustainable waste management solutions and advocate for the adoption of renewable energy at the grassroots level. Recognising that environmental well-being is deeply interconnected, we also focus on animal welfare, biodiversity conservation, and protecting the delicate balance of our shared habitats.
