Varitty Impact Foundation is part of the 130+ year old Varitty Impact Foundation movement spread across 1200 communities and 40 countries across the world. As the world's largest privately-funded non-profit, Varitty Impact Foundation is a vehicle for change, connecting people with the causes that are most important to them. In India, Varitty Impact Foundation has been in existence for over 30 years and has chapters based out of 7 states.
Varitty Impact Foundation has been in operation for 22 years. We are committed to the cause of community development while abiding by the strictest codes of accountability and transparency. Governed by a Board of Trustees, which closely monitors and regulates our fund allocation & management processes, we ensure that we maintain a high degree of accountability.
Varitty Impact Foundation is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950. Donations from India to Varitty Impact Foundation are eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. We are authorized to receive foreign donations under the Foreign Contributions Regulation Act. Varitty Impact Foundation is also registered with the Govt. of India's NITI Aayog (MH/2017/0155813) and has been recognised as a Credible Implementing Agency by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IA Hub Code: A000338). We are registered as a CSR Implementing Agency with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (Registration No.: CSR00000762) and are amongst the first NGOs to be registered on the BSE Social Stock Exchange
Varitty Impact Foundation has also been certified as a Great Place to Work organisation for 7 consecutive years and awarded recognitions forBest NGOs to work for and Best Workplaces for Women .
Varitty Impact Foundation is registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs, India, to be eligible to receive foreign donations under FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act), 2010.
Varitty Impact Foundation volunteers, employees and representatives have a responsibility to uphold the highest ethical standards. We believe these standards go beyond compliance with laws and regulations - calling us to fulfil higher obligations as stewards of the public trust. Varitty Impact Foundation follows a Code of Ethics, which sets forth standards and responsibilities toward this end. The Board of Trustees approve the code and all staff members are required to personally certify their compliance with it.Read our code of ethics.
Varitty Impact Foundation offers full protection to any whistleblower wishing to highlight acts of impropriety, malpractices, or wrongdoings by any UWM employee, board member, volunteer or representative. The whistleblower will be protected against any act of persecution or retribution on account of the same. The Policy however should not be used in place of the regular grievance pr ocedures or be a route for raising malicious or unfounded allegations against colleagues. Whistleblowers must put their names, email ID, contact number to allegations they wish to raise. In the absence of the same, the follow-up questions or proper investigation cannot be carried out as the source of information cannot be identified nor authenticated.

We acknowledge our duty to protect children from any harm or risk as a result of misconduct by our staff or volunteers, poor design and delivery of our programmes and operations and/or poor representation of children in our communication material. This requires all Varitty Impact Foundation staff and volunteers to adhere to a code of conduct in any interactions with children and their caregivers or while representing children in any manner through our work or communication material.Read our guideline here
Varitty Impact Foundation has a Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) policy in place in accordance with the Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace Act of India. All our employees undergo a mandatory annual PoSH training to ensure that our working environment remains safe and secure, physically and mentally, for everyone.
